| You know about the new Google browser right? It's called Google Chrome, or just Chrome. What we are missing right now is a lot of Chrome plugins. Just remember though that this thing is still in Beta mode, so there will be a lot to come. Here is what I found though on Google Chrome plug ins: Google Chrome detects NPAPI plugins. In my installation I see the following module names (slightly grouped): Built-in activex-shim, default_pluginAnd according to a site there is a test plugin "npapi_layout_test_plugin" for testing the plugin functionality. The public developer pages also explain multi-process sandboxing tricks for plugins. But there are no links or info on how to add plugins to Chrome. Can someone give some more info on Chrome and plugins? What are the limits? Does NPAPI (in Chrome) allow modifying the DOM? In the Chromium source tree it seems like both NPAPI and NPruntime (docs) are supported. A list of plugins, probably all NPAPI: https://addons.mozilla.org/en/firefox/browse/type:7 There are also lots of NPAPI plugins for VPN and multimedia. Is there some list of "all" NPAPI plugins on the web? It's possible to wrap NPAPI plugins as Firefox addons, so maybe some of those could be found available on the Mozilla plugin site? So does anyone else have any info on Chrome plugins that they can share?
