Which dog breed should I choose?

So I've asked some dog people (breeders, heavily into show and dog sports) who know me pretty well:

If you could see me in the dog world, breeding and showing etc. one particular breed, what would you put me with?

Both answered Borzoi (one answered exclusively Borzoi, the other it was third on the list. I asked them totally seperatley too!)

I've never really considered sighthounds before, let alone Borzoi, and don't know much about them. FILL ME IN :D

I found it really interesting that they both answered with the same breed, and they both know me pretty well, so it might be something to serioulsy look into in the future (for pet ownership, I don't think I'd ever breed/show).
