Awww.. so a new dog found you.

Have you taken him to the vet yet for a checkup? very important in my opinion. Your vet may also be able to tell you if the dog has been taken care of in the past, and if he has any special needs.

I hope you two can get along just fine.

have you ever seen the princes bride? while Wesly was on black beard ship every night he told him.. "well good night, i'll most likely kill you in the morning"

Well, every night or so I tell my girls we well get rid of the dog in the morning...

he might not have ever been around kids and might not like them after all not sayin your kids did something to him because kids that age does not do it to be mean but sometimes a older dog will turn i know my daughter was bit when she was 4 and almost lost her eyes so becareful i would tell you to get them a puppy and let them train it thats what we had to do with my son when he was a baby and he could do anything and thay would not bit him.

she may have fallen inlove with your baby girl but you should still watch out because dogs are aggressive by nature. make sure that you don't leave your dog alone with your little girl. if you want to keep the dog, maybe you can start a little dog training.

Dogs by themselves are not capable of hating - but there conditioned to hate.

I took care of a lost dog once. She still had her chain on and the chain got stuck on a crack on the road. She stayed in our garage and I fed her for one week. When I have food, she usually doesn't growl but when I check up on her occasionally she'd growl at me all the time.

Her old master probably hit her constantly cause she looked so haggard and thin. She left our house after a few days.

I guess you really can't say much about stray dogs especially since you don't know what environment they came from. It's good that your daughter gets along with her but you should be a little more careful.

Take her to the vet and try to train her, maybe after a while she'll ease up a bit around you and your son.
