Has anyone ever gone though this? We though we had a healthy dog until this week. He stopped having bowel movements so we took him to the vet. After x-rays and blood tests, we found that he is a really sick dog and I don't know what to do. I'm really upset. We found that he has an inflamed digestive tract, high pancreas and liver levels, and isn't absorbing protein as he should. He's about a year and a half and is a shih tzu/peke mix. Has anyone dealt with this? Is this something we can fix and he live a happy life or will this eventually kill him?

He's an indoor dog so I know he didn't eat anything weird from outside. He isn't prone to eat weird things anyway. He eats only dog food and dog treats. I don't know how he got so sick. And he's in good spirits. He acts like nothing is wrong with him.

Has anyone dealt with any of these issues? I would appreciate any help.
