My Lab sheds a lot of hair. The vet said it's normal but my room and other parts of the house sometimes collect a lot of his hair and my dad's getting annoyed. I don't want my dog to sleep outside. Has any of you experienced this with your dogs? And have you ever heard of anyone inhaling dog hair and the hairs get stuck in their lungs? My grandmother and my dad nag me about my dog sleeping in my room cause they say I may already have a lot of his hair in my lungs. Is this true? is this possible? If so, how do you prevent this? Cause when I experience difficulty in breathing I get a little paranoid.

Technically you cannot inhale dog hair, since they are quite large to pass through the nostrils. Don't worry about that and as for the hair fall go with your vet's advice. ![]()

I have the same problem with you. iMac's hair is everywhere in the house. The good thing is no one nags be about it. Everybody in the house loves my dog. I always sweep the floor since I don't have a vacuum cleaner, hehehe.

They love my dog they just don't love his hair hahaha!! I vacuum twice or thrice a week but if I'm lazy I just sweep the floor especially my room. Good to know I can't inhale dog hair, I was really getting a little paranoid. Thanks for the info!
