Exclamation How Do You Choose A Groomer?

We chose our dog groomer a long time ago. She is an elderly lady that we have known for years. Out little puppies really love her, so that makes it easy for us and them. She's also really good at cutting their hair, and she always surprises us with some custom made pet bows or a pretty design on their nails. We love our dog groomer a lot, and I can't imagine having to find another one.

How do you choose a dog groomer? Do you go off of word of mouth, the phone book, or what? Is there anything that tells you that one groomer is really good at what they do, or that they are a bad pet groomer? I'm interested in what thoughts you have on picking a groomer.

ya know I thought any groomer was the same... come one how hard could it bee... I remember asking a lady how did it "so are you all hair stylist that flunked out" that joke did not set to well... but the other day I was watching a petco groomer HACK up a dog and the poor thing had chunks of hair missing... so I would talk to your friends and see who they use.

I've seen the same thing at a big pet store. I agree that asking friends what groomer they use is the best idea.
