I am prejudiced since I breed them, but I have always been impressed with the poodle breed. They are smart, loving and loyal. They are not big yappers as are some of the smaller breeds. That would drive me insane! I do like the fact that most of them are "people dogs" which means they do not bond exclusively to one human and ignore others. They are great with kids as well.
