Default At What Age Should Dogs Be Bred For the First Time?
This all depends on the breed of the dog. Smaller dogs or toys can be bred at ages of one year and above as they have reached their maturity and are not continuing to grow. Larger breeds should not be bred until after the age of 2 since they are still developing and maturing past the age of 1.
