Celebrities are addicted to plastic surgeries. The most common plastic surgery operation that celebrities get are nose jobs, face lifts, tummy tucks, Botox, and breast implants.

Why do these ladies think that they need a Hollywood plastic surgeon to change the way they look? It depends really. Some women go to these extremes to change their appearances because they are lacking in any confidence whatsoever, while others simply have a lot of money and want to keep working (in Hollywood it's hard to work unless you look like you are less than 30 years old!).

Some of the most famous/ notorious Hollywood stars that are rumored to have had plastic surgery are Angelina Jolie, Pamela Anderson, Tara Reid, Lil Kim, Jessica Simpson, Tori Spelling, Hillary Duff, Victoria Beckham (Posh Spice), Donatella Versace, Michael Jackson, Marilyn Monroe, Winona Ryder, Demi Moore, Halle Berry, Britney Spears, and so many more. the truth is that almost every woman in entertainment has probably had some form of celebrity plastic surgery!

Celebrity Face Lift- A facelift is is a major procedure to treat severe facial skin laxity and sagging. The procedure often provides a benefit for more than 10 years. Facelift plastic surgery may be performed by making an incision at the temples behind the hairline. The incision typically extends downward, along the natural creases in the skin, in front or on the edge of the ear, in the crease of the ear lobe, and behind the ear. Making the incision in the natural creases helps hide scarring after surgery.

Celebrity Tummy Tuck- A tummy tuck or abdominoplasty is the most effective way to tighten your stomach area. It also gets rid of loose or wrinkled skin. Stretch marks between the belly button and pubic hair are eliminated. Fat tissue in the lower abdomen is removed. The abdominal wall muscles are tightened so that even when sitting down or bending over the abdomen doesn't stick out. Say goodbye to holding in your belly.

Celebrity Nose Job- For many people, a prominent, asymmetric, bumpy or undesirable nose leads to extreme self-consciousness. One of the most common of all cosmetic procedures, rhinoplasty (nose surgery) is used to improve the appearance and possibly the function of the nose.

Celebrity Breast Implant- Augmentation of the breast consists of insertion of a silicone bag (prosthesis) under the breast (submammary) or under the breast and chest muscle (subpectoral) and then filling the bag with saline (salt water). This prosthesis expands the breast area to give a fuller breast (increased cup size), give a better contour, and give more cleavage.

Celebrity Botox Injections- As a treatment for wrinkles, BOTOX cosmetic works a little differently than a collagen wrinkle filler. BOTOX has been proven to smooth facial lines by paralyzing or weakening the muscles that can cause frowning. By limiting these particular muscles BOTOX can decrease the amount of fine lines, wrinkles, and facial creases.

I really don't understand why any healthy person would do this Alec. It just doesn't make any sense to me.

I want to share a great experience I had with Botox injections in the area above my upper lip. I went to a clinic called Personal Touch Med Spa in Myrtle Beach, SC. My sister had gone there recently to have Smartlipo with Dr. Diane Duncan and decided to get additional Botox injections as part of a "med-spa" package. Not only does she look great from the Smartlipo, but she has an amazing result from having Botox injected in the area between her nose and upper lip.

I decided to visit Dr. Duncan while vacationing in Myrtle Beach, and I'm happy to report that I also got great results from Botox in my lip area! I actually have an upper lip and can use lip liner!

My sister and I suffer from the "chicken lip" syndrome, a.k.a., no lips! We both hate the look of fillers in the lips and have never understood the whole fish lip/Angelina Jolie wannabe thing. So when it was suggested that I might be able to increase the volume in my upper lip ever so slightly with a small injection of Botox above the lip, I decided to try it. I felt very confident in Dr. Duncan's skills, based on my sister's results from her Smartlipo procedure and the Botox injections. The results are awesome!

Not only did it smooth out some of the icky "smoker" lines above my lips, but also it pulled up the center of the upper lip just enough to actually have what Dr. Duncan calls a "cupid's bow."

It seemed like a scary area to have Botox and it takes a very skilled and experienced doctor to apply the right amount, in exactly the right area. I have read so many awful stories about Botox parties, Botox in the shopping center, and even Botox shots while you're getting your hair done! Don't do it! Got to someone you know is good, based on credentials and other people's personal experiences and results.
