The new Psychic Kids TV show came on A&E tonight. It's making me wonder if psychics are real? You know, do some people really have psychic powers?

My review of Psychic Kids (yes, another reality/ documentary) is that it was great. The show was very entertaining, informative, and well made. Here is some basic info on the show:

Ahli says she is a psychic — she claims to see auras, has seen and heard spirits, has predicted others’ health problems and, recently, has begun doing intuitive energy healings. Not many people know about her claimed abilities. That will change tonight when the Lawrence girl is featured on the first-ever episode of “Psychic Kids,” a series on the A&E Network. Ahli has had migraine headaches for years, and she’s been diagnosed, at varying times, with attention deficit disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder and childhood schizophrenia. Arkeketa-James says she was hoping being on the show — and meeting hosts Lisa Miller, a clinical psychologist, and psychic Chip Coffey — would help them understand what Ahli was experiencing.



Now them, do you think psychics are real? Do some people have supernatural powers and abilities? Personally, I believe in it. I think that some people can communicate on a soul level. I'm not saying that every psychic read tarot cards in the French Quarter is real, but some people fo have a gift.

I am a 17 year old boy, and I believe I have "psychic" abilities I guess.
For about three years I have felt spirits in and around my house. bad ones.
I don't know how to descrive it but when they are around I get an intense heavy feeling in my chest.

I can never make out what they are but sometimes I see a dark black shadow thing where they are. I have felt them physically touch my back, and I think one hangs out on a ledge next to my stairs and watches me every time i use them.

One has talked to me, but it was like it was another language.
My dog sees them too, he is constantly looking around at the dark places (often in corners)

Its pretty frightening, but I am used to it kind of.
so yeah, thats my stance on the subject

I don't believe in psychic powers, nothing has been documented by science. I think its just the latest fad and now A & E has decided it is time to cash in on this cow.
