The ACT test begins today (Sunday, June 14m 2008)! The next ACT test is on September 13, 2008, and you must register by August 12, 2008. My daughter will be a Junior in high school this next year, and she is looking at taking the ACT test that will be given on December 13, 2008 so she has to register by November 7, 2008. Sorry about throwing all these ACT test dates out (lol), but I want to write this down so I don't forget it, and I want to send her a link to this.

Here is my main question: D you think that paying for her to take the ACT practice test is a good idea and worth it? I'm talking about the ACT prep courses where they teach the kids how to answer all of the questions. When I was in high school I just bought a little test prep book and studies by myself. My daughter claims that all of her friends are going to take the preactice course and that she need to. I'm not sure how much it costs but I will bet you that it's a lot. What do you think??

yes, the ACT prep course is worth it. I took it myself a few years ago. I seriously doubt that I would have done nearly as well without it.
